stay connected to HAIL, you must use the new address; Yahoogroups at hail-list@yahoogroups.com .
If you were a subscriber
to the old list you do not need to join the new list, we did that for you!
What is Yahoogroups?
What are its features and how do I join?

Yahoogroups is a list server.
A list server is a “closed” email distribution list. There is one address that will send the
email to everyone on the list. To
send and receive emails to the group, address it to hail-list@yahoogroups.com (i.e.: Everyone on the list gets the email
at the same time)

To access all of the other features
you must become an Yahoogroups member. It’s FREE and easy. All you need to do is go the their web
site at http://www.yahoogroups.com/.
Once there, click on New users, Click
here to register . This will take you into the registration
page. Once you enter your email address, a password,
date of birth, gender and zip code, (Note; all of the information is private,
except your name) click” I Accept and continue”. You will then be asked what kind of SPAM
you want to receive. I chose
NONE. Then click finish to
complete. After you are a member,
you need to subscribe to the group.
To do this go to: http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/hail-list
and find the word “subscribe”.

The short version
(kind of):
- To Send
an email you must use the following address hail-list@yahoogroups.com and be
a member of the “closed” group. (If you were a member of the HAIL@LISTSERV.REGIONOFDOOM.COM
list your name is already on the new group list).
- To become
an Yahoogroups member you need to sign up at http://www.yahoogroups.com/ Once there,
Click on New users, Click here to register
. Then enter all of the required
information.
- Once you
are an Yahoogroups member you need to subscribe at http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/hail-list
. Click on this address, then click on subscribe. This will send Ed an email, asking him
if you should be added to the list.
He will reply to the email and you are in. (If you are already on the list Ed will
not need to approve your request)
- Once you
are an Yahoogroups member and subscribed to the Region Of Doom list you
can access all of the features and modify how you receive the email list
(i.e. digest mode or single at the touch of a button). You can even start your own groups that
have nothing to do with the Region Of Doom.
